We would like to inform students that the last day of teaching before the October half-term is Wednesday 22 October.
Thursday 23 and Friday 24 October are training days for teaching staff.
College will reopen for students on Monday 3 November.
Student Welfare
Support for students over the half-term is available from the Student Assistance Programme (SAP), provided by Health Assured.
Students will have access to a 24/7 helpline staffed by British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BCAP) accredited counsellors to help them with any concerns. This includes connecting you with local safeguarding and emergency services when immediate action is needed to keep students or a friend safe. To access this service, call 0800 0283 766.
The college will have a member of the safeguarding team on duty Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. They can be contacted via the college reception or the
Learning Resource Centres
The college’s LRCs will be closed on Thursday, 23 and Friday, 24 October.
The London Road LRC will be open Monday 27 to Friday 31 October from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm each day.
English Bridge and Welsh Bridge campus LRCs will be closed during the half-term.
The Shrewsbury Public Library, located on Castle Gates, is open Monday through Saturday, providing a quiet space for students to study.
